Harry "Hatchet" Schultz is a minor character featured in Red Dead Revolver.

History

Background

When Harry Schultz was a kid, his father would punish him by making him chop wood for hours while his siblings laughed at him. By the time he was 15, not a single tree stood within miles of the cabin he grew up in. When Harry became an outlaw and fell in with the Pedrosa Brothers, he continued this habit, but instead of chopping wood, he chops folks. He was given the nickname "Hatchet", presumably due to his habit of chopping things. Harry 'Hatchet' Schultz is wanted dead or alive with a bounty of $500 for "the chopping of things he shouldn't".

Events of Red Dead Revolver

Harry 'Hatchet' Schultz appears in the mission "Railroaded" where he takes part in a train robbery with the Pedrosa Brothers. He appears during the end segment where the player has to defend the train engineer, Hank Pullman, for 3 minutes. He jumps on the train from horse where he shoots at the engineer. Harry gets killed by Red Harlow during the mission.

Harry "Hatchet" Schultz is listed in Sheriff Bartlett's Journal on pages 150 - 151 under the Wanted - Dead or Alive section. The pages are unlocked by purchasing the Bed Roll.

Trivia

• His name would suggest he is of German descent.
• He shares the same voice actor as Chicken, but it is never specified who their actor is.
• He will either spawn wearing a brown, green or dirty yellow jacket. Upon closer inspection the player can also see that he has blood stains all over his clothing. It is assumed those are the result of when he chopped up his siblings.
• Schultz and Ted Bufias are the only two characters to have a wanted poster and not be playable in Showdown Mode.
