History
Background
Hoss is an outlaw and train robber working for the Pedrosa Brothers.

Events of Red Dead Revolver
Hoss is the last mini-boss during the level "Railroaded", where the Pedrosa Brothers are attempting to rob the train to Brimstone. Hoss holds the engineer, Hank Pullman, hostage, attempting to get him to derail the train. Hoss gets killed by Red Harlow who saves Hank and fends off the train from the rest of the Pedrosa Brothers.

Trivia
- When "Railroaded" is played in the Bounty Hunter Mode, the challenge is to kill Hoss within two minutes of starting the mission.
- In the Showdown Mode, Smiley Fawler shares his character model while his second skin is his actual character model.
- Hoss is armed with the Oppressor, the most powerful rifle in the game, proving him to be a rather challenging sub-boss should the player get hit by him. However, due to the train's speeding and shaking, he luckily misses a lot of his shots.
