Spider Gorge is a river featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online. It is located in the Grizzlies West region of the Ambarino state.
It runs south, going through Colter and flows towards Lake Isabella. During its course it is joined with Deadboot Creek. The river is quite remote, and is always covered in snow. There is a few species of fish that call the river home, including Rock Bass and a small Sockeye Salmon population. Its main source is from an ice waterfall from the Glacier.
Known Graves
- Jenny Kirk gets buried along the path next to the northern part of the river after "Outlaws from the West." Inspecting her grave is required for 100% Completion.
Trivia
- There's a loading screen from Colter, depicting an NPC standing over the butcher's table, labeled as Spider Gorge.
- It's possible to fish in the river. However, due to the fast moving water of the river, doing so is extremely difficult.
- The name, 'Spider Gorge', is an odd choice as due to the cold nature of the environment, spiders would have great difficulty surviving.
- The area is possibly named after Spider Madison—the actor who portrayed the character of Uncle in Red Dead Redemption.
