Argil Rise is a farmhouse just South of Rhodes in Red Dead Redemption 2 in the Scarlett Meadows region of the State of Lemoyne.
Background
Red Dead Online
By 1898 the area around the future estate has been a simple pasture of grass and flowers.
Red Dead Redemption 2
In early/mid 1899 during the mission "The Course of True Love III" Arthur and Beau will ride through the pastures while leaving Rhodes after a confrontation with the later's cousins as they ride to Bolder Glade.
Sometime between late 1899 and the summer of 1907 a homestead called Argil Rise was build. While John can investigate the place, he will find it nearly empty, suggesting that it was just finished or that there was no tenant found for it yet.
Trivia
- As many structures that exsits only after 1898 the farmhouse is absent in Red Dead Online.
- The word "argile" reffers to white clay used in pottery. The name might has been chosen due to the red clay coloured soil and many white flowers surounding the estate.
- The existence of this little farm could suggest that the remaining Braithwaite family has given up the lands as prior to 1899 they were harshly protective of anybody coming close to it.
